Is the the Newsgroup DL limit still 2GB?

I read the FAQ page, I was just wondering if it was up to date. Also when I Googled about it, I saw some years old threads that said you can get around the limit by making a new email account and making it the primary account which would give you another 2GB. Does that still work? I not greedy. 5 GB a month would do me just fine. ...
