| The *Centre for Humanitarian Psychology (www.humanitarian-psy.org (http://www.humanitarian-psy.org/))* is a humanitarian organisation whose aim is to provide psychosocial support to victims of conflicts or disasters. We are looking for volunteers/interns to assist us in the development of our digital library, through which we aim to offer humanitarian organisations all the expertise so far accumulated by numerous NGOs worldwide to help humanitarian staff create better programs. This means helping us go through a number of written documents, (in English, as well as French) which we intend to place in the digital library, writing abstracts and summaries for each one. This also involves placing the summaries in a database, and later corresponding with the authors for permission to place their articles in the CHP digital library. The ideal candidate would be: * interested in Psychology or International Relations; * fluent in English and/or French; Spanish and German would be helpful but not necessary; * have good writing and communication skills. The position is unpaid, but you are given the rare opportunity to work with and involve yourself in the new fields of Disaster Psychology and Psychosocial intervention in emergencies.
