Distributors Ingram Micro and Tech Data have their fall events. And the list goes on. But in the age of videoconferencing - er, TelePresence -- webinars and remote data backups, it is possible to cut out some travel. And if multiplying airline surcharges for diminishing service aren't enough motivation, Ingram Micro has something that might help - web-based training . Now, mind you, Ingram Micro isn't the first to do something like this. Web-based training has been around for years, but the distributor just happens to have launched a new program at a time when so many of us are trying to find ways to cut back on expenses.
