Obama doesn't wait long to try to take the focus off West Virginia, and put it back on the battle for delegates.
At 6:31 am, an e-mail arrives announcing the endorsement of Indiana Rep. Pete Visclosky (left): "Barack Obama will bring people together, give them hope, spur change, and set the U.S. back on a course toward progress, prosperity, and global leadership.”
Then, at 6:35 am, another e-mail announcing an endorsement from Democrats Abroad Chair and superdelegate Christine Schon Marques: "Today I pledge my support to Senator Barack Obama because I believe that he will take our country in the right direction, he will restore America's reputation, he will honor the men and women who are bravely serving our country, and he will reach out to Americans across the country and around the world."
Do we think Visclosky and Schon Marques popped up from bed at 5:30 am, said to themselves, 'I have to endorse Barack right now," and rousted David Axelrod with a pre-dawn phone call?
Or do we think the campaign had these in its pocket, to quickly refocus from WV?
