| ok so here is the deal I did my taxes in January and put off paying until its too late. I owe the government $637. Please don't lecture me on not paying I know I should of budgeted and paid it off sooner rather then waiting like I did.
So now we've got these situmlas checks coming do I get one? also if I were to pay my taxes off say this week will I still get a penalty and if so how much do you think?
Who would be good to talk to for both state and federal because I owe about 300 to each.
Thanks and I've learned my lesson, don't mess with ur allowances over the year no matter how much you put in it it wasn't enough. I mean I worked tons of over time got 6 hundred usually taken out of my check from taxes and in the end still wound up paying in because I added more allowences to my W4 because I needed the extra money when it was tight.
