| Today is Kevin Bacon's 50th (!) birthday. Which makes me feel old, but time marches on, not only for Bacon, but for all the stars who share his birthday. There's 40-year-old Billy Crudup (who starred in Almost Famous with Frances McDormand, who starred in Short Cuts with Fred Ward, who starred in Tremors with Bacon), 57-year-old Anjelica Huston (who starred in The Golden Bowl with Nick Nolte, who starred in Cape Fear with Illeana Douglas, who starred in Stir of Echoes with KB), 47-year-old country singer Toby Keith (who starred in Broken Bridges with Kelly Preston, who starred in Jerry Maguire with Tom Cruise, who starred in A Few Good Men with you-know-who), and 38-year-old rocker Beck (who had a voice role in The Rugrats Movie, as did Whoopi Goldberg, who was in The Player with Tim Robbins, who was in Mystic River with Mr. B). Anyway, I could play Six Degrees all day with people who share Bacon's July 8 birthday (including Jeffrey Tambor, Joan Osborne, Michael Weatherly, Milo Ventimiglia, and Sophia Bush), but I'll leave that fun to you, PopWatchers.
