Hale as the new head boys basketball coach.Hale comes to Jacksonville with an impressive resume of having coached boys and girls high school teams on a highly competitive level.“He has an overall coaching record of 478-202, so I would say he is qualified,” JISD Superintendent Stuart Bird remarked. “He’s a mature coach, I think he will be good for our program. We look for improvement in all areas of athletics.”The Indians went 22-9 last season under head coach Roynal Bridgeforth, losing to Lindale in the bi-district playoffs. Bridgeforth left Jacksonville to accept a middle school athletic coordinator position in the Coppell Independent School District. ... |
