Students from Grace ‘n’ Glory Christian Academy in New Franklin, Mo. recently returned from International Student Convention (ISC) on the campus of Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Mo. There were more than 2,400 students from the United States, as well as 10 foreign countries in the competition. Thirteen students from Grace n’ Glory competed in 32 of the 100-plus events held over a six day period in May. The students who competed included: Jordan Humphry, Aaron Sampo, Jacob Oliver, Brennen Nichols, Brandon Wilson, Justin Beaman, Patrick Elsey, Jewelya Humphry, Mariah Overstreet, Breaha Berglund, Ana Elsey, Jody Sampo, Lauren Beaman and Brianna Wilson. Each evening of ISC there is a rally that all of the students attend. Occasionally, students are asked to perform a “command performance” in front of the entire convention. This year, Grace ‘n’ Glory’s Male Trio was asked to sing their music selection. Overall, they placed second with their performance. The Male Trio was made up of Justin Beaman, Brandon Wilson and Brennen Nichols. For the rest of the story, read the Tuesday, July 8 print edition of the BDN. ...
