NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures fell Thursday, as the U.S. dollar rose against other currencies after the Labor Department reported that the U.S. economy shed 62,000 jobs in June. Job losses in June were worse than the 40,000 expected by economists surveyed by MarketWatch. Gold for August delivery fell $10.50 to $936 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
