| Although no new telemovies from NBC Universal have been announced, it's possible that when "Battlestar Galactica" returns to the television movie realm, Jane Espenson will be the writer kicking it off. The blog site Galactica Sitrep says it has received a report from unnamed sources that the former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" writer who also penned some memorable episodes of "Battlestar Galactica" will take a crack at the first movie, which also will be directed by series star Edward James Olmos. If this news does turn out to be true, it will contradict what supervising producer David Weddle told SyFy Radio just a few weeks ago.
