| Dan Finley, the Milwaukee Public Museum president and former Waukesha County executive, said today he won't ever run for political office again.
"No. I'm done," he said, when asked if he'd consider a bid for governor or some other office. His new job gives him a chance to flex his political muscles a bit, he said, noting that he helped persuade Milwaukee County officials to agree to pay more to help solve the museum's financial problems.
The clincher: Finley, 50, said he and his wife had "just bought a condo in southern California as a segue to retirement."
Finley served as Waukesha County executive for 14 years until leaving for the museum job in 2005. ... |
