| Just 4 percent of Iraqi refugees say they plan to return to their own country after fleeing because of threats or insecurities, a U.N. report indicates.The report found 65 percent of refugees not wanting to return said they were under a direct threat in Iraq, the report issued by the U.N. refugee agency said. About 30 percent of the respondents said they felt a general insecurity about their home country, while 8 percent said their homes in Iraq were destroyed or occupied by someone else.The unrest has uprooted about 4.7 million Iraqis, the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees said. More than 2 million Iraqis are living as refugees in neighboring countries such as Syria and Jordan, while the remaining 2.7 million are internally displaced.The U.N. ... |
