Air America has tried several radio personalities and settled for one that's somewhat right-of-center (can't remember his name now). Anyway... WKVT is filling that time slot with a syndicated radio host not affiliated with Air America. His name is Ed Schultz. According to.... wikipedia.... "The Ed Schultz Show, a nationally syndicated U.S. talk radio show promising "straight talk from the heartland" from a "gun-totin', red meat-eatin' lefty."" It's also part of the Jones Radio Network which also handles The Stephanie Miller Show. The Ed Schultz Show is one of the top liberal radio shows in America, broadcasted live from Fargo, ND from 3-6 pm EST. Schultz has been known to tussle with the Dems. He famously grilled Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed on impeachment, the war in Iraq, and even went after Truthout.org journalist Jason Leopold for not backing up his own story on the Karl Rove/Valerie Plame leak (a bad moment for indy journalists I might add). He's a bit hot-headed, his voice sounds a lot like Rush Limbaugh, but he stands on the right side of the issues many of us care about.
