A suspected cocaine trafficker from Jamaica Plain who was charged with dealing in Framingham on Friday skipped out on his Framingham District Court arraignment yesterday. Julio E. Gonzalez, 50, posted $7,500 bail after his 9 p.m. arrest on Friday, and missed court yesterday. Judge Douglas Stoddart issued a warrant for his arrest. Gonzalez was arrested along with his alleged customer, John E. Sullivan, 56, of Framingham. Police were patrolling near the Pelham apartment complex when they saw Sullivan walking back and forth, police spokesman Lt. Paul Shastany said. They then saw a white minivan pull up to him, he got in, it drove away, and came back a couple of minutes later and Sullivan got out. The officers decided to question Sullivan. "He looked like he was getting ready to run and he dropped something to the ground," Shastany said. Police found a baggie containing five smaller baggies of cocaine and Sullivan was arrested, the lieutenant said. Officers stopped the minivan and arrested Gonzalez. At the station, Detective Matt Gutwill searched the van. "He located loose wires on the driver's door, which activated an electrical compartment in the center console," Shastany said. Inside the "hide," police found 45 corner baggies of cocaine, weighing more than 28 grams. "It was a good haul," Shastany said.
