SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Lexington Legends keep inventing new ways to lose. In the 14th inning of a 2-1 loss Monday, the Legends allowed Savannah to score the winning run from first base thanks to two errors on the same play. Sand Gnats base runner Casey Craig stole second, and Lexington catcher Jonathan Fixler's throw sailed into center field. The ball then rolled under center fielder Brandon Barnes' glove, allowing the winning run to score. Lexington dropped to 5-19 in the second half of the South Atlantic League season and 26-67 overall.
