To start to answer your question, I would advise you to review some of the related Discussions within both the Windows Community and the Answer Line Community. In short, you do not have to upgrade as of yet However, please note that eventually, it will come to a point where you will have no choice but to upgrade. Since SP3 is presumably the last major security patch for Windows XP, it may come to a point where some of the applications you use may require SP3 to be installed. ...
