History (the former History Channel) served wine and beer before and during its session for critics. Unfortunately, it was one of the least-attended sessions of any network so far, mainly because the rest of the day had been so jammed packed. I was there, though. Some comedy shows serve beer and wine before a taping so the audience will be in an easier mood for laughing. I guess it applies with History, too. I laughed all throughout that session on "Einstein" and his theories. I had no idea String Theory could be so funny, and I nearly wet my pants when they started talking about his theory on relativity. I'm just glad they didn't get off on the subject of the War of 1812. Honey, I would have been rolling in the floor. Hey, maybe CNN should liquor us up when they present! Question: Should I feel guilty that I had a wine glass in front of me when A&E presented a session later in the same hour about an interventionalist? As I lifted my glass during the A&E session, I thought to myself, "Wow, some people have a real problem with addictions and they just can't see it!" ...
