United disaster this morning: *Announced attendance: 14,660. *Actual attendance: Maybe 9,000. *Attendance at final whistle: 250? *Time of match: 4 hours 44 minutes. *Time of delay: 2 hours 54 minutes. *Number of light failures: 2. But that only tells part of the story. The rest of the story is a well-known local wakeboarding enthusiast (in life vest) and a few dozen of his best friends keeping up the spirit during an event that lasted longer than election night and was wetter than an exit poll.
