DU Correspondent Dhaka University Day' 2008 was observed amid fanfare and cheers of students, alumni, teachers and guardians, though the celebration was marred considerably by the heavy downpour from early morning. Since the early morning, students from different halls started arriving at the TSC carrying banners and placards to watch a laser show at 10:00am followed by a one-hour drama `Eksho Basta Chal' that enthralled the audience.
