Jeremy Linot was making a delivery last spring on South St. Francis when he heard a popping noise. "I thought it was a backfire" from a vehicle, Linot testified Wednesday at a preliminary hearing where a judge ruled Shannon Bogguess should stand trial on charges including first-degree murder. Linot heard the roaring engine of a car speeding away and stepped outside the business where he was making his delivery. A man lay in the street bleeding that morning, May 12.
