Cosmos is working on replacing its water tower and water main, with help from a $550,000 state loan. The loan from the state’s Drinking Water Revolving Fund has a 20-year term and 1.092-percent interest rate. Work on the foundation for the new tower has already begun. David C. Webb, construction manager for General Construction Services of Stillwater, said the tower has been fabricated and his firm intends to start erecting it in six to eight weeks.
