Coastal Carolina University will present the Fall Gospel Concert on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 4 p.m. in Wall Auditorium, featuring the Coastal Carolina University Gospel Choir, now known as the Inspirational Ambassadors. The concert is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. Special guest star will be Sheryl Ward-Randall, founder and former director of the Universitys gospel choir. The Inspirational Ambassadors comprises more than 30 students and provides a means for its members to express and showcase their talents and love of gospel music. The choir, established in 1988, has performed around South Carolina as well as the Southeast. Directed by David Manigo, the group placed first in 2005 at the Black Family Expo College Gospel Choir Competition in Florence. ...
