Author: Anthony C. Review of: China Phoenix I have been a regular customer of this restaurant since 1992 . I made a conscious decision as of July 2008 to stop patronizing this restaurant due to its management catering to a changing clientele in its bar area that is so distruptive that I can't believe anyone in business would allow this to continue. The "ghetto" talk heard in the dining room from the bar is filled with overwhelming fowl language, loud yelling and laugher, and simply disgusting. I have witness bar fights and arguments and have even heard of the apparent drug trafficing taking place in the bar area from other regular customers. I have told the owner about this who seems to be very disconcerning about a my observations. I just can't believe this is taking place at this establishment which has been known for its good food for so many years. In addition to the changing atmosphere, the quality of service is now fair at best. Busy lunches are often left to only one server, tables are not cleaned off, and the food has become very inconsistent. The last dinner night there, July 9, 2008, I walked into not only a bar fight, but a dining room full of non cleared tables, one waitress, and other distressed customers who were sharing similar feelings about the changes taking place. ...
