Due to the recent theft of the Veterans’ flag holders from Riverside Cemetery, donations are being sought to replace them. The Cemetery Superintendent ,Cemetery Commission, fellow veterans, Selectman Steve Castinetti and Veterans Council President Doug Cooper would like to see all flag holders replaced by Memorial Day 2009. They need approximately 600-650 holders, which are valued at about $20 each. Donations may be made to: Riverside Cemetery, 164 Winter St., Saugus, MA 01906, c/o flag holders.
