What with Nancy Pelosi spending something like $90,000 of taxpayer dollars on carbon credits for the Capitol, and Al Gore buying them from himself for his mansion, I think this is going to be the scam of the decade. Since the US gov't has decided to eliminate traditional manufacturing in our country, and I am a machine shop owner, I though I would manufacture some carbon credits instead. Here's my plan: For every $70.00 sent to me, I will shut down a machine for one hour. The electricity I don't use, and the aluminum I don't cut up into helicopter parts will save lots and lots of carbon. I will email a $70.00 carbon credit (in pdf form to save trees, suitable for e-framing) to everyone who sends me money. With the money I make from manufacturing these carbon credits, I will buy more machines to make more carbon credits...:)) ...
