Governor Deval Patrick already worked to keep Organogenesis in Canton with the help of his life sciences initiative, which provided the company with a $12.9 million incentive package in April. Now the Governor is helping Canton prepare its infrastructure for the company’s expansion as part of the Massachusetts Opportunity Relocation and Expansion (MORE) jobs grant. On Thursday, July 3, Patrick awarded Canton $850,000 to make improvements to town roads and pedestrian sidewalks in the Dan Road area, which will create 150 jobs, Patrick said, adding this funding is separate from the life sciences incentive package. “The MORE Jobs Program provides resources to support partnerships between local municipalities and the private sector to foster development and help create hundreds of new jobs,” Patrick said.  “I am proud our administration can partner with cities and towns in this way to help both the state and local economies flourish.” Organogenesis was created to commercialize technologies, such as its living cell therapy, which can close diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers. The company was founded in 1985 and is currently an 80,000 square-foot facility but the company is planning to expand to three facilities totaling 250,000 square-feet, officials said. Rep.
