| Every year, the trash bin behind Coastal Carolina University's dorms fills up during move-out days with unwanted clothes, small furniture and other items students can't fit in their cars or they just don't want. This year, economics professor Robert Salvino and the economics club at CCU are trying to find a better place for those items than the trash. "Another professor approached me after he noticed how much stuff was going into that Dumpster and we thought, 'Man there could be something better done,'" Salvino said. "I started mentioning it to classes this fall. A few of them just decided they could make it happen." ... |
