Administrators at Coastal Carolina University are still hoping for a public-private funding partnership to pay for a new arena, but with the clock ticking the university is keeping its options open. The Coastal Education Foundation Buildings/Grounds and Land Use committee is scheduled to hear a proposal for the new arena at its meeting today, but Stan Godshall, executive director of the foundation, said that the discussion could occur in a closed session.
