Bronco came to Mesa last night and spoke to the University Stake.
It was really amazing. I walked away a lot more impressed with the
coach as a person. He was completely focused on the church aspect
of football, and wouldnt really answer my football questions. He
did tell me that Mitch Payne is recovering great and doing awesome.
Those firesides are really awesome. I have always heard they were
good, but many if you have one any where near you, you need to go.
There were so many funny stories he shared about players and how
his life panned out. I had no idea he was 31 when he got married.
His wife is just awesome as well. There were so many great stories
from it. In my opinion he is the perfect example of what a coach at
BYU should be.
