According to published reports, AMD has sold its digital TV business to Broadcom for almost $193 million. As part of the deal, over five hundred AMD employees working for the DTV business will be offered jobs at Broadcom. AMD had announced last month that it was quitting the DTV market, as part of an effort to streamline its businesses.
