By Victor Balta As Seen on TV Comcast.net Political correctness went out the window Wednesday at the TV critics press tour in Beverly Hills, Calif. But that's bound to happen when folks like Margaret Cho, David Alan Grier and Bobby Brown are under the same roof. Cho was in town to talk about her new VH1 show, "The Cho Show," which follows Cho, her family and her assistant around. Cho was a part of the first Asian-American family sitcom on ABC several years ago, but, as VH1's head of programming Jeff Olde said, "they told her that she was too fat, too edgy, and just too Asian for TV." On her new show, Cho gets to be herself and she talked about the freedom in that. "I remember attending the (TV critics press tour) 15 years ago and how hard it was for us, how hard it was to represent a show that I had to work on, that I had so many problems with," Cho said. "And in this show, I'm so proud and so excited. At that time, we brought the first Asian-American family on television. It was like a really very ground-breaking thing, a very difficult thing, and, you know, I'm very proud now to bring the second Asian-American family to television. I'm actually number one and number two, so that's an achievement." ...
