Back story: My husband was recently given a Blackberry ( a new leash IMO) by his company so he could check his e mail while on the road. :uhh:. The service is Nextel (mandatory by the company - no choice even though the signal is virtually non existent in our part of town). Now I set it up for him with two e mail accounts. One is his personal account (Optimum Online) that causes no issue. The other account is through the company server - Tom@company.com. Usually he logs onto the company server - we are in NY and the company is in NJ- and checks his e mail using Outlook on a computer either at our NY office or from home. Recently he, as well as others in the company, have been getting hit with over 100 spam mails a day. Fortunately they are routed to the spam folder. Unfortunately the company is doing very little to prevent the spam. I know there are programs that can prevent this but we are not allowed to install software so my hands are tied. We never got spam until about 2 months ago and then all of a sudden bam !!! We cannot control that so here is my real question. All of a sudden - actually at 7 pm last night - he got hit on his Blackberry with all the spams that are usually associated with the company e mail. He has had the Blackberry for about 3 weeks and it never happened before. He did get them on his computer but not on the Blackberry which makes no sense but that's what happened.
