This week’s beauty spot is located at 179 Humphrey St., where a boarded-up window on a former convenient store has remained for way too long, ultimately proving irresistible to the town’s seemingly legion "taggers." The structure suffered a fire in the early morning hours of Jan. 3, 2005, and while the neighboring tailor shop has reopened for business, it is dwarfed by the dormant and defaced convenient store. Assessor’s records show that the property was sold on Nov. 16, 2005, for $100 by Bradford Ingalls to the W.B. Ingalls Charitable Foundation. Efforts to reach the listed trustee of the foundation, Raymond M. Masciarella II of North Palm Beach, Fla., along with the realty company handling the property’s sale, Maurice Real Estate, were unsuccessful.
