With all the merger discussions, business concerns, and changes going on in the industry, sometimes we forget about what satellite radio is truly supposed to affect: Your Life . Deep down, the purpose of this medium isn't about just the wizbang techie gadgets or the programming contracts or the latest deals. It's about connecting to listeners and becoming integrated into our lives. For myself, satellite radio (obviously) is a huge part of my life - more than just being part of the blog - I literally cannot imagine my days without either XM or Sirius . My commute would be, well, utterly boring. So, I thought it would be neat to have a discussion as a weekend feature and share with each other: When did you get your first satellite radio?
