Here’s something we were not exactly expecting. Apple decided to lower the price for both MacBook Air versions. Both models will see a surprising $500 taken off their initial price so better hurry. Although I would wait for the next generation of MacBook Airs which should be coming at some point in the future. What happened with Apple to offer these deals on Airs? 4th of July specials? Don’t thinks so! Some of the components they use are cheaper than they initially were. The 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor upgrade went down $100 from $300. Most importantly the 64GB SSD drive , initially priced at $999 will drop to $599. But if you want to order a new Air right now, you will get the 1.8GHz MacBook Air for just $2598 instead of the $3098 while the 1.6GHz MacBook Air with the cheaper SSD drive for $2398 via AppleInsider Related Posts 15.4″ MacBook Scheduled For Release In 2Q 2007 A self confessed Apple fan, this one got me extremely excited as there is always a place for yet ano...
