AVG update fixes VISTA IE7 printing problem

I could not print any thing from IE7 browser last month. Suggestions were to get rid of AVG8, or uncheck the "protected mode". Yesterday a program update for AVG8 was installed, which required a "restart". Tonight I plugged in my old HP printer, I am able to print from the browser now. ...
