Before I pull the trigger buying an AMD 5600 AM2 (ADO5600IAA5DO) 65 watt version ($84 delivered) I've got a quick question for you all. I currently have an AMD 4400 AM2 in a Gigabyte S series MoBo (GA-M61P-S3) running Vista Home with no issues. I upgraded this once from a 3800 AM2 and had no issues, just had to put Vista in and let it do its thing for a while. Will I get the same easy upgrade results going to the 5600? I really don't want to have to format the HD and would probably just skip it if there are known problems/issues. I don't want the 6000 or 6400 because of the double power usage before someone asks. I think this is about the end of the line for this MoBo as far as upgradability for other AMD CPU's. Thanks in advance AMD'ers. ...
