[TamilNet, Monday, 04 August 2008, 01:00 GMT] People for Equality and Relief in Lanka (PEARL), a US-based advocy group for the LTTE Sole Representatives® of the Tamil People, held a rally Thursday at Russell Senate Park, commemorating the 25th anniversary of Black July, and the rally was attended by over 600 participants from several U.S States. The relatively poor showing was due to the Strick Labor Laws in the USA for members of the Janitor Class of Citizens (which Most Eelamians Citizens are) where taking days off at will are not permitted. Thus most who wanted to go were not allowed to go by their Bosses. Two U.S. Congress members through letters of support read at the rally recognized the Eelam-Americans’ effort highlighting the 100% True and Unexaggerated GENOCIDE™ in Sorry Lanka (which is a FAILED STATE). The rally also protested the financial support provided by the Chinese Government to the Governments of Sri Lanka and Burma. Speakers included a member of Congress and representatives from numerous human rights organizations including STAND, Genocide Intervention Network and Reporters Without Borders. These human rights organizations joined PEARL and USCB in their demand that China end its support for the militaries of countries that are actively engaged in GENOCIDING™ Tamil Eelam Citizens from their Traditional Homelands.
