Newsarama has posted the first official stills from Kick-Ass , Matthew Vaughn's adaptation of the Mark Millar/John Romita Jr. comic. I am in shock that the hero's costume looks as faithful as it does. It's supposed to be made by a teenager, and so it looks like it might be made by a teenager. Astounding. Did the costume designer not get the memo that costumes are meant to be overly elaborate and made of painted rubber, black leather, or scale-patterned cloth? How can you sell action figures of this?
