Filed under: Republicans , Ads , 2008 President Barack Obama has whined lately of not being asked real questions by his fan base in the media. He doesn't think matters of judgment or personal character are real issues. Obama is wrong on that front, in my opinion. Nonetheless, the Republican National Committee provides a new public service via a new video that simply asks questions. The :60 second web video is titled "Can We Ask? Yes We Can!" Before someone accuses this post of being a sock-puppet for the RNC, please check all of my postings on all videos. They all get an airing! The RNC's message is a smart one but it'd be better aimed at an actual TV viewing population. Otherwise it's very expensive talking-points. Nowadays, there are very few truly undecided voters surfing the web via channels clogged with political content. But this ad is themed to tie into a new user-submitted question contest that the RNC is hosting on their site . This ad asks fair questions, best planted in the mind of that Starbuck's sipping commuter, who hasn't really read or heard a single policy position of Obama's. The best audience are those voters simply enraptured with the branding.   Permalink  |  Email this  |  Linking Blogs  |  Comments ...
